The FranklinCovey Campus consists of five buildings and is strategically located in the Salt Lake City metropolitan market area. The five buildings are situated on a 21.7 acre park-like campus setting. They encompass 311,727 square feet, range in size from one to five stories, and were built in phases between 1984 and 1995. The focal point of the campus is the 158,802 square foot Franklin Building, a state-of-the-art, Class "A" office building, with the balance of the complex at Class "B" level. All are attractively appointed, well constructed and maintained. The buildings surround a scenic pond situated in a meticulously landscaped central courtyard.
Less than five miles from Salt Lake City's CBD, the FranklinCovey Campus is the main focal point for the Decker Lake Business Park in which it is located. The campus is within the incorporated boundaries of West Valley City, Utah's second largest city. West Valley City has traditionally been a bedroom community of the Salt Lake City valley, but has evolved in recent years as a fast growing and thriving community. Access to the campus is excellent via the adjacent Interstate 215. Redwood Road, a primarily northsouth artery, is five blocks east and the 2100 South Freeway, a primary east-west route, is two blocks north. Land use within the neighborhood is generally commercial in nature, with a combination of distribution, light manufacturing, and office complexes.
