A native of Yazoo City, Mississippi, A.G. Helton, CCIM, is a respected leader in commercial real estate with a passion for revitalizing communities. With more than 28 years of experience in business—beginning in the food and retail sectors—Helton founded Action Properties, LLC in 2002. His first major project was the redevelopment of the 40,000-square-foot Yazooville Shopping Center, followed by the successful transformation of a vacant local K-Mart building into a thriving commercial hub. Under his leadership, Action Properties has developed over 45 properties in 14 states, delivering successful retail sites while exceeding tenant expectations and timelines.
Helton’s deep community ties are reflected in his service as President of Manchester Academy’s school board, the Yazoo County 4-H Association, and the Board of Directors for the Yazoo County Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, he was awarded the "Spirit of Yazoo" award for his outstanding volunteerism and contributions to Yazoo County's economic growth. He is married, has three children and six grandchildren, and remains committed to relationship-driven development that strengthens communities across the Southeast.
