A major early commission for H. H. Richardson, the Dorsheimer House holds a special place in Buffalo's renowned architectural history. Olmstead, who was working with Lt. Gov Dorsheimer on Buffalo's park system, recommended his friend Richardson to design this house. The work led to a commission for the State Asylum, where Richardson honed his signature style. The Dorsheimer was renovated in 2023, restoring grandeur to the mansion and creating one of Buffalo's most luxurious office spaces. Shared reception, conference and meeting facilities on the ground and second floor levels provide great opportunities to impress clients.
