Situé dans le coin nord du campus animé de Notting Dale, le Studio Building fait écho au passé artisanal de la région, créé spécifiquement pour abriter les petites entreprises à l'esprit artistique à la recherche d'espaces de travail ouverts et lumineux. Conçu par le célèbre cabinet d'architectes Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), le bâtiment de sept étages se caractérise par sa forme simple et par l'expression de fenêtres à bandes généreusement proportionnées nichées à l'intérieur de l'extérieur enduit de blanc. Il y a également des clins d'œil à ses voisins, avec des persiennes en aluminium gris qui correspondent au bâtiment blanc d'à côté et des panneaux de protection jaunes intégrés aux balustrades d'escalier, qui offrent un lien visuel subtil avec le bâtiment jaune. À l'intérieur, les étages des studios ont été conçus pour permettre une flexibilité maximale, permettant aux locataires de créer leur espace de travail idéal. Les panneaux de haut niveau situés dans les fenêtres à bandes peuvent également être retirés pour fournir de l'air frais à tous les systèmes de ventilation nécessaires à leur travail. Le bâtiment est par ailleurs ventilé naturellement par des évents régulièrement espacés dans les fenêtres à bandes vitrées.
