A building like no other in Omaha. The Mastercraft was built in phases starting in 1941, during WWII, as a classic, well respected furniture company serving the region. The building was a shining example of modern design with clerestory windows facing north bringing in soft, constant daylight. Today that daylight is a source of inspiration and energy throughout the building. The building has been constantly occupied and cared for with original architectural details preserved throughout. You’ll find original exterior windows repurposed on the interior to create interest, industrial markings from the factory days still present and telling the story of where couches were upholstered and even some original notes taped to the walls in the 1950’s.
